Dear Friends, This year SPOT – Portuguese Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, celebrates its 75^th Anniversary, and we are preparing a Congress worthy of the magnitude of this event. Over these 75 years, your support has been fundamental to the realization of our Congress. Only with your support, will we be able to make this event a reality, which constitutes the major meeting of Portuguese Orthopaedics. We chose “Navigation and robotics in Orthopaedic surgery” as the main theme of the Congress, and “Ecological footprint in Orthopaedics” as the main Round Table, two very current themes, that are transversal to the activity of all Orthopaedic surgeons, regardless of the anatomical area to which they dedicate themselves. We also have a period specially dedicated to all SPOT Affiliated Societies (Paediatric Orthopaedics, Shoulder and Elbow, Knee, Infection), as well as to the Sections (Hip, Biomechanics, Spine, Wrist and Hand, Ankle and Foot, Tumors of the Locomotor System, Section for the Study of New Therapies and Technologies in Orthopaedics, Trauma, Forensic Medicine, Geriatric Orthopaedics) and to the Study Group of Organizational and Management Models, in order to provide space for more specific topics.‍
